The most important thing is to keep it clean. **** and span with a medium bristle brush works. Also check out this web site http://www.dicor.com/resources/PDF/Roofing/Brite-Ply_&_Tek_Care_&_Mnt.pdf

Thanks for the info, Steve. Do you have any recommendations as to the type, brand name etc. of cleaners and selants I should use? I just bought my RV there at Lazy Days in June, 2010. Nothing but praise for yall and the way Lazy Days treated us.

Weekly Tip #4 Needed: One Box of Plastic Gloves
Purchase a box of cheap disposable plastic gloves from your local pharmacy or super-store, about $10 for a box containing 50 pairs.

Yesterday, heading back into park in another 'XXXX' jam. Never know which letters to fill in until you get closer, but based on how many cars my experience said Bear. Sure was, a sub adult grizzley across the Firehole River. He has been seen often in this area. If heading into the Park from the West entrance, this location is about 5 miles east of Madison. If you are in a LOT of traffic, get the camera ready.

The closest example I found on our lot today was a 2006 Georgie Boy. It has a TPO (rubber) roof material. Maintenance should include washing and inspecting all sealants four times a year. Do not use cleaners or sealants containing petroleum solvents, harsh abrasives or citrus based cleaners.

Class A or Class C

I'm sure this question has been asked a million times - please indulge me! I do not own an RV YET. Beginning the big look and plan on making a purchase in 2011. Where can I find information comparing Class A and Class C. Intial cost, cost of ownership, insurance costs etc. I know the differences but want to know the practicality of one over the other. I am a single woman and probably don't want anything bigger than 30 ft and will be considering it my primary home for awhile. I live in the pacific northwest and plan to explore the coast from washington through california. Thanks for help and thoughts. k

I am seriously researching for a class b, probably Roadtrek, but don't like chevy or sprinter chassis; can't have roof top air in my mobile home park. Any tips as to problems particular to this type vehicle would be greatly appreciated. It will be used as daily vehicle but, more importantly, I want it to be comfortable to take grands on vacations! tyvm!

Are you using a water regulator? Low pressure at all faucets? Low on pump and city water?

We have a 2005,Georgieboy,Cruise Master. The roof looks ok. The roof looks like a white, onepeice sheet of plastic or metal. It does not look like the roofs I have worked on at our home. what kind is it and what should I use if It ever leaks?

Don, I just spoke with Barney and he said to lean forward for the sixteen foot mark, the only time you use the dot is in tight turns. Thank you for the comment!

Bill and Jolene, I am so happy that you are getting to do what you dreamed of doing for years. Bill, we talked about this alot while we were sitting at our desks. I hope to be doing the same in a couple of years.

How about kitchen tools? Microwave, built in, stove fridge etc, but blender? Panini maker, how about the cast iron pans and griddle. Griddle necesary for us, my nickname elsewhere is Pancake Bill, so I need my griddle. Utensils? Hey, this kind of goes with recipes or reservations... Anyway, what extra appliances do you need? Want? Take with you?
Please list something, maybe we will want one too.
One of our favrites is a blender, the kind ice cream shops have, made by Hamilton Beach. My first jb was in an ice cream shop and back in RI we made what was called a 'cabinet'. In ther areas they can be called Milk Shakes, but in RI that is a whole nother thing. A little Kahlua in the mix makes a real nice evening drink, and if you are at Lazy Days and see matt, ask him about it.
Lets build this thread up a bit, first reply and I'll post the recipe for that drink.
