More real information and less sales hype, the audio book sounds good.

After nearly 18 years of RVing to dog shows witth large breed dogs I can see the usefullness of the auto start. But Wire Suitcase crates, Ex Pens, Solar reflecting tarps and a great Canine First aide kit are a lot more essential!

More important are pet insurance (we use Pet Plan, they have paid us for 6 knee surgeries and a herniated disc. we have 2 small dogs that are only 3 years old, but the vet bills so far have been over $16,000.) Make sure your dogs are micro-chipped and the contact numbers are kept current. Train your dog to come when you blow a whistle (this has saved our Bichon from certain death on several occasions) Carry a large container of Corn Startch, this is a great dry shampoo and will remove burrs, sand spurs and other sticky stuff from your dogs coat. Just sprinkle on, rub in and brush out. Carry a small bottle of pyrethins flea and tick dip. You can put a drop onto a tick and it will come right off. Make sure your dogs vaccinations are up to date and carry proof in your coach. Don't forget to pack their flea repellant and heartworm prevention. Carry ear cleaner and use it weekly. Learn to clip your dogs nails or get a nail grinder. This prevents holes and scratches in your leather furniture. If your dog is a shedder, buy an undercoat rake. This will work wonders on keeping hair in your coach to a minimum. Pad training your dog is also a good idea. This gives them a place to go when the weather outside is bad. Care-a-lot pets and Petedge are both websites where you can buy dog supplies at a reasonable cost. I am a dog groomer and order from both sites frequently. Both will get your order shipped to you in a matter of a few days.
