Thank you so much for your instruction on driving a motor home. I have been driving a law enforcement vehicle for many years but the thoughts of driving a big motor home through Atlanta or Miami scares me to death.

My computer will not let me watch the courses. It kicks out at about 10-15 secs into the recording and will not do any more of it. Any one got any ideas? I d really like to see these.

I found Part #6 and all of the other RV Driver Confidence courses to be very helpful. Even though we have had our motorhome for 3 years, I sometimes still feel like a rookie when it comes to some of the nuances of driving and handling the RV.

Airhog,
I am sorry you had trouble locating the video. If you go to the Home page on Better RVing.com and click RV Tips, you will find RV Driver Confidence Course.
Part 7 Backing into a Campsite is the last video listed. I hope this helps.
Happy Travels,
Ronda

Is the rear view monitor usable if you have a vehicle in tow? Could you adjust the camera to the back of the car as you would the back of the RV or would the ditortion be too great for reliable (and safe) passing?

Could you explain the concept of tail swing and how a driver should account for it? You have a great site!

Barney Alexander is an excellent instructor. I have viewed his instructions several times. I try them, review them and use them. He gives enough detail to make the lesson meaningful and useful. Many thanks!! I will be watching for more of theses.

I never owned nor drove a motor home ever in my life, let alone a 43 foot one with a tag axle which I now own. I took this course from Barney last April at Lazydays in Florida where I bought my retirement home on wheels, I feel a lot more confident on the road thanks to him.
