My husband and I are now full-time RVers and spent some time in Custer SP this fall - after spending the summer in the beautiful state of Idaho. Summer 2010 will be in Alaska working in a Wildlife Refuge for 8 weeks - can t wait for this adventure!

Made an 8 wk trip from Maine to Alaska in 2001. Enjoyed every mile of it. We too loved the Black Hills scenery. You will LOVE they Yukon Territory and Alaska. Hyder Alaska is a neat place...Salmon Glacier and grizzlies. Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!

thats my trip of a lifetime. I hope I get to enjoy the same trip one day can t wait for the next chapter. I did get to rv to sturges for bikeweek and saw alot of the places you mentioned. Looking foward to your trip through Canada.

Great reading... My parents took hundreds of slide photo s in the early 60 s of Alaska while stationed there. As a Harley riding guy I m not sure I like the idea of him chasing wildlife around on a dirt bike....or chasing wildlife period!

Just read your adventure into the Black Hills! That was a great adventure because I took that great tour a few years ago.

We are retiring in July and heading to the Pacific NW. We are taking the north route going out. We are so excited and after reading all your chapters we can t wait for July to arrive and see some of your adventures. Thanks for sharing!!

Retired in January, scheduled trip to Custer State Park for June/July (6 week adventure). We visited friends in Rapid City 01 for a whole 2 days, looking forward to slowing down the pace and enjoying everything this area has to offer.

We are leaving for Alaska on 1 Aug 2010, from Ohio driving up and ferry back to Prince Rupert , then slow drive back home,Going on the IceField Hwy again, loved it before.
