Jay. Did you get the Serrano and how do you like it? Did you get the 31V or 31Z? We are thinking about buying one, as soon as we sell our 2006 Lexington GTS. Thanks. edited by Elisabeth and Dirk on 1/30/2010

We got our Serrano 31Z at Lazydays FL & drove it to Golden Shore RV Resort in Long Beach CA. We absolutely LOVE our Serrano. We drive at 60 mph, tow a Honda CRV & got 14 mpg on several tanks along the way. We average over 12.5 while towing. Awesome

You say that this is a diesel, but the engine is a Vortec, which is a gas engine. Based on the sise and weight I would say that it is a gas motorhome, not a diesel.

This engine is a Maxxforce 7 v8 diesel. It has been since the first one built.

My wife and I are looking to buy our first motor home and I think we have settled on the Serrano 31V based on many good reviews, size and layout. We found this review to be very helpful and we have added it as another data point...Thanks!

Purchased a Fourwind s last July (2010) and so far have been unable to use due to vast difficulties some so severe it was taken back to the factory for repairs. Though still (after a month there), it continues to go in constantly for repairs.
