I've heard that shocks really help the ride and stability too.

I have a 2008 Itasca Cambria and I replaced my shocks with Bilstein shocks. They helped with the stability of my motorhome. I am still having sloppy steering. I have had Ford service center check the front end, wheel alienment and etc. Everything is okay and within spec. Tire pressure is correct. Motorhome is balanced as far as the load. I have read that I need to get Steer Safe Steering Stabilizers or Safe-T-Plus Stablizers. I know one uses springs and one is like a big shock. Would this be the correct item to install to correct my problem?

Depending on what is your "sloppy steering" problem. A steering stabilizer will help keep the steering in a centered position. All of these add-on accessories are not used to correct a mechanical problem. It sounds like you have had everything checked and therefore would be able to take advantage of enhancing your steering with a steering stabilizer. Maybe some people out there can give us their experience with different brands?
