A lot of things found in the RV stores can be found a lot cheaper at home improvement and dept. stores....

A lot of common items are found in home improvement stores. However one example of something that must be RV specific is an lp appliance. These items must be labeled as "Listed" for RV use.

I agree with Steve R. on lp selection. Also items to keep in mind are, when adding electrical items, amp draw. Overloading the coach's breaker box can be a matter of math. Read your appl. hand books, get the amp draw ratings off your appl. and off your new add-ons, and add them up so as not to exceed recommended amp draw ratings of breaker spicific areas of coach. And over all amp ratings of power cord.
