Propane furnaces can not be converted to diesel fuel. An Aqua Hot system could be installed aftermarket. Cost would greatly depend on how many zones and the accessability to run heater hoses etc.. I would think it would need to be basement design class A motorhome. Do you have a diesel engine now? If not fuel tank would be another issue.

Aqua hot does make a lp heater also if you do not have diesel.

You have 2 furnaces, Aqua Hot uses one heater and then runs heater hoses to several heater cores (zones) throughout the motorhome. The coolant is heated by the one heater, then the water is pumped to each zone where a fan blows across the heater core to transfer the heat to that zone or area.

I have a 41 foot motor home. is it possible to estimate, in ball park terms the cost of a conversion? Would the propane furnaces be removed in the process? There is plenty of basement space in the front half of the coach the back would be more difficult but there are traces that run down the side to carry water and wires to the rear. There also appears to be considerable space under the rear closets where the current rear furnace is. thanks

It would not be necessary to remove lp furnaces. That would be your decision. The heater would have to mounted in the outside storage compartment. Installation would have to take things into consideration such as: pysical size of heater, accessability to hoses and associated wiring, exhaust system and fuel system as a few examples. Cost could be in the $15,000 ball park. I could a more exact quote if you are interested?
