I bought my trailer, Palimino 178QB, new, last year. Everything worked fine. However after 5 months I noticed erratic lighting. Using the right turn signal, all the lights (exterior) flash. including the marker lights. Hit the brakes, all the lights activate, same with the emergency flashers. (using the left turn signal does not cause any problems)

The dealership said to clean and scufff up the tounge, which didn't work. I had the trucks socket checked twice with no problems found.

Question is why all of a sudden is it happening? The center pin on the trailer checks good.

This is definitely a grounding issue. A ground wire has come loose at a light or on the trailer. Take a jumper wire to the taillight having the problem from the frame. This will confirm the problem. The center pin on a 7 way connector is for back up lights.
