I now own a 35' fifth wheel and I am debating on moving up to a diesel pusher, but I know the up keep on a pusher is substantually higher. I thoroughly enjoy my fever, but I have always wanted a pusher. Can anyone who has made the same move give their ideas on whether it was a good move or not. Thank You and good rving.

I made the move up a couple of years ago. No regrets. The room and ride made up for the increased expense.

I went from a 5th wheel to a diesel pusher. It was the worst mistake I ever made. The maintenance and upkeep was a money pit. Had to buy a toad to tow behind for transportation. After 2 years I switched back to a 5th wheel It was cheaper for the diesel truck and 5th wheel combined and the fuel mileage is better. I have been RVing for 50 years and am 72 years old. I have owned all types. If money was no object then a Diesel pusher would be OK for lots of travel. But we tend to stay in one place for long periods of time. we are not full timers but do spend time with our children and grand children in different states staying a month or two at a time. Mel
