I have an 2002 DSDP with a factory installed 400 watt inverter
I want to up grade to a 2000 watt inverter
This is to be a DIY project.
I need some guidance as to how to replace the installed chargers as the new inverter has a built in charger.
Some suggestions as to how the wiring should be run.

This is not just a simple replacement for your existing inverter. You can remove your converter that is presently used to charge your batteries. The 2000w inverter needs to be mounted close to the batteries to reduce the wire size znd cost of battery cable from batteries to inverter. Make sure it is in a dry well ventilated compartment as it will produce heat. You will also have to change the 110v circuits. A 110v sub-panel for circuit breakers will need to be installed if you have the inverter without breaker protection. It must have circuit protection when in the invert mode. This will also help you seperate loads you will not want to run on inverter such as air conditioners and 110v water heaters. This should help you start planning your DIY project. You will probably want to draw your plan before starting. Post any questions you have as you proceed.
