I think this is coming from excessive water at the evaporator if you are talking about roof mounted a/c's. A couple of things to check #1. Make sure the airs have not been overtightened to the roof closing the drain holes on the bottom of the a/c's to the roof, #2 check the drain pan on the bottom of the evaporator to make sure it is not damaged or drains clogged.
