We have been RVers for a little over a year and love it. We too have been thinking of
doing the work/camp thing and your article is very inspiring. Maybe someday we
can make a full time commitment to RVing, until then we will just enjoy it weekly.

When seeking a workamping position it s critical that expectations are crystal clear on both sides - this eliminates any misunderstandings. Here s a nifty checklist when interviewing a potential workamp employer: http://bit.ly/bo0bmd

RV ing is a great way to live. Another option on work as you travel, is tocome a vendor at Malls, County Fairs, Street Fairs, State fairs, Rodeo s. Three of our seven Children have been traveling, selling license plates and frames for over 22 years.

My idea of work camping is simple. I have been in the medical field for several years now. A part of my duty is to make medical alert bracelets and necklaces. See www.gomedhelp.com This is going to be on the road again. Hope to see you. Clinton

My husband died recently and I would so like to learn to drive my 40 diesel pusher but am afraid of it! Are there any teachers anywhere who teach you to drive a motorhome. I have had the short course at Lazy Days and got a certificate .

Bob and Kathy are our friends as we are workampers also. We have been full time 10 years and would not change our lifestyle at all.

Bob & Kathy are having a great time as are Dan & Carol, you can add us into the same fun life.
To the poster that is afraid of driving the 40', get to LazyDays for the driver confidence course. Barney (and Bob when working at LD) are great instructors, they can get you over the fear and get you on the road.
