What are your imoressions, FL to AZ on I-10? I have driven it, and aside from the eternal construction in LA, (state, not city), it was quite nice. Of course we timed Houston for early Sunday morning and drove straight through. The amazing part was looking at the 'fly-overs' in that area. Western Texas was interesting with the populated hilltops. If you have driven this area you know what I mean. What looks like one home occupying an entire hilltop. The RV-sized boulders along the side in New Mexico, looks like a giants baby has tossed his toy blocks! I was trying to get to an overnight at the time, but next time I want to get some photos.
What are your impressions? Favorite overnights along the way? Any hints?
