I must have vinyl. It feels like plastic on top and bottom.

After a 2300 mile trip, I wanted to wash the awning, so I opened it, took a break because it was hot weather, and before I got back to work, a gust of wind put it atop the RV...now a new, clean one is on order..just a freak of wind, but it happens.

Most acrylic awnings are also in a metal wrap. Do not scrub the acrylic awning.

Bought an expandable handle brush to clean it from the roof and it still isn t long enough. Sounds dumb but this is an electric awning and it does not get very low to the ground...any suggestions?

To clean an acrylic awning be sure to follow the procedure in tip#1. Hose off and allow to dry. If you use soap and water with a scrub brush you will need to reapply the water repellent. You should be able to find this spray at an RV parts store.
