What systems are easier to maintain? The Basement AC units or the Roof mounted systems?
Are the Basement units more efficient? I am considering purchaseing a motor home that has a basement unit in it. The Winnebago Adventurer is a 05'. Are you aware of mechanical problems with those type basement AC units? Thanks

The basemet A/C is equal to two roof mounted (13,500 BTU) A/C's. Filter cleaning is done from the inside on both systems. The basement A/C hs the electronics available from the outside instead of getting on the roof. Both can have condensor coils inspected and cleaned from outside. One advntage to the basement A/C is all the fan noise is outside.
