Currently, have a Fleetwood Revolution with Michelin XZA2 tires. They are 7 years old and have 42,389 miles on them. I undersatnd that they need to be replaced because of age.
There are cracks on the sidewalls. I have had Michelins on a preivous coach and they did the same thing cracks !!! Should all six tires be replaced ?

My question is are Goodyears a better tire then Michelins ???

Do they also start cracking at the 6 - 7 year time frame also ?

Tires need to be replaced because of the condition of the tire. If they have cracks on the sidewall, they should be replaced because of the condition of the tire. Cracks will indicate a weak sidewall. The age of the tire is stamped on the tire, do not assume the tire is the same age as the RV. Storing of tires properly is very important. Tires need to parked on a vapor barrier (plastic works well) to prevent from absorbing moisture in the tire. If stored for long periods of time without driving the tires also need to have weight removed (use the jacks if equipped) or be over inflated. Do not forget to reduce to proper inflation before removing from storage. Improper tire pressure is the number one reason for tire problems. The RV needs to be weighed and then use the tire pressure chart provided by your tire manufacturer to know your correct tire inflation.
