One of the Motorcycle storage slides on my Newmar All-Star Cycle Edition stopped working. I followed the instructions in the little pamphlet they call a manual to close the slide. The electric loackarms wouldn't work so I ratchet strapped the two slides together to keep the damaged slide from walking out and went about my business. When I finally had time to diagnose the problem, I found that a hinge pin on one of the lockarms was hitting the frame so it wouldn't open all of the way. Therefore, the "lockarm open" sensor wasn't sending a reading to the slideout controller. That problem was fixed with a little Dremel tool grinding. However, the slide still wouldn't work even though I could hear the slide motor running. I pulled apart the gearbox on the slide gear motor and found a completely stripped nylon gear (first gear driven by the motor). Does anyone know where I can get replacement parts for things like this? I'd like to replace the gear and not the entire gearmotor.
