Fixing Your Multiplex System: Troubleshootin' with Ernie

A good RVer isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves up and take matters into
their own hands when things go awry in the RV. In this series, Ernie Herring
reveals which tools every RVer should have in their personal toolbox
and how to use those tools like a seasoned pro.

I have a 2005 Monaco Diplomate. A water fitting (elbow) split on the back of the toilet (Aria II - Thetford). I replaced it. Now, water is seeping out the top of the hole on the vacuum breaker. Is there a diaphram that could be replaced in there?

Great!! How about a story on having to replace the TV sets (for compliance) and hooking them into the stereo DVD system. I have a large cllinder (black) left over that was used in the aux audio connection...where does it go? What s it for?

If the dummy that put the wires in the connector in the first place would of made sure that it was snapped in correctly the bedroom lights would not have went off in the first place.

Downloading stops abruptly after about one minute. Have tried it using my Verizon air card and RV parks wifi with same results. Have had no problems with youtube or other videos downloading.

When I use my left directional, it blows the fuse but if I use the right directional, it works fine. Your suggestion please. This is on a 2004 Bounder 36 foot.

I would check all bulbs on the left side first. Including any turn signal that might be mounted on mirror. After that it would probably be a short in the left turn wiring.
