Steve, Can you tell me how to reposition the arms on the rear view mirrows on my motorhome? It is a 2007 Mandalay.
The driver side needs to swing in just a bit and the co-piolit mirrow needs to swing out just a bit. I have tried to loosen the bolt on the underside of the arm housing but the bolt is very tight. I dont want to strip it. I have tried to spray the bolt with penetrating oil and will try again tomorrow. Am I going about this the correct way?
Thanks,
Lance

There are two adjusting points. One for moving the arm and the other for moving the mirror head. You are correct in loosening the bolt on the bottom of the arm. When adjusting the head which you will need to do after moving the arm make sure the mirror is in the center position with the electric motors. Then put the head in a position for the driver. Now fine tune adjustments can be made from inside with the electric remote controls. If the mirror has to travel completely to the stops of the motor to be used properly you will experience excessive vibration.
