I have a 2004 american eagle that is showing a cheek engine light on the dash
with diagnostics plugged in still unable to find the cause of the problem! Need help.

Who is connecting diagnostics? Are you at a Spartan, Cummins or Allison dealer? The most common item is low coolant. Fuel cap on tight? Are any other warning lights or gauges giving any irregular readings?
