Bill Whetstone Posts 144	Steve, I have a 1997 Fleetwood on the Ford F53 chassis. It is probably time for trans fluid replacement, I have no record of previous owner doing this, and I have not yet done it. My questions, should I put in the Dex that was in there, or change to a synthetic? If I change to synthetic, how imperative is it that the old remaining fluid and the new synthetic do not mix, or is some mixing OK? Thanks! (about 67000 miles) -- Bill Whetstone, Forum Leader

Steve Roddy Lazydays Employee Posts 647	Do not mix synthetic with the standard transmission fluid. At this point I would change the filter and replace with the appropriate transmission fluid.
