I have trouble with my dolly. All my lights work correctly except my brake lights. When I hit the brakes the right brake light works but the left light goes completely off. Can you help me? Also. What is the diff. in fiberglass and rubber roofs

Check grounds on the tow dolly especially to the tail light that is going off. Big difference in maintaining a rubber roof and a fiberglass roof. No petroleum products or citrus cleaners on a rubber roof. Clean with **** and span and a medium bristle brush. Use a Dicor self leveling sealant. Fiberglass roofing can be cleaned with the same wash detergent as used on the sides. Seal roof with a self leveling sealant for fiberglass.

Do you know any place that will rent you a truck or passenger van that has a tow hitch and breaking system to pull our travel trailer?

Check with U-Haul. Some locations have a pick-up truck that is rented. I am not sure about the truck being equipped with a brake control.

Do Ultralite trailers REALLY give you good gas mileage?.. if so, what trailer and what tow vehicle? I hear that a Toyota Sienna can get 27mpg hwy, and when towing an ultralite, it gets 11! (As bad as a class C RV) What gives? How much is hype?

An Ultra-light trailer will allow you to tow with a smaller vehicle that usually has a higher mileage rating when not towing. Since more miles are driven when you are not towing than when you are towing then you are back to your 27mpg instead of 12mpg in a truck required to pull a heavier trailer. When towing it is not only the weight but also the wind resistance that reduces mpg.

I am new to RV n and thinking about a Ultra or Lightwt TT. I have a 2010 Toyota Tundra Crewcab with 5.8L V8. How much trailer can I safely pull? I have limited experience with 18 wheeler, and more with 28 straight truck.

2010 Toyota Tundra – Some trim levels include a tow package, but almost across the board any 5.7L Tundra tows 9,800 to 10,800 lbs (reg. cab long box). The tow package adds $660 to the cost of a base Doublecab 5.7, and without it the max tow rating is only 8,600 lbs.
There are tow ratings available on the internet but you should be able to look in the owner's manual or on the data plate on the driver's door for the most accurate information.

Not really sharing thoughts on this story, but wondering what the terms and conditions are to getting the free RVing magazine. I didn t see any terms and conditions, but it wouldn t let me subscribed unless I agreed to them.

We have an Onan generator that is leaking water, but we cannot find where the leak is. Any suggestions? It can sit in the yard and run for 3 hours without leaking, but when we take it out on the road, the water comes out someway.

The generator coolant system will need to be pressure tested.

Hi Steve, The picture on my rearview and side cameras is coming in extremely bright with horizontal lines across it. Brightness was turned down with no change, plugs were checked and all appear to be tight. What else could I check?

Some blinds are held in place with brackets and others are screwed directly to the bottom of the cabinets.

Proper tire inflation is calculated by having the RV weighed and finding the information on an inflation table produced by the tire manufacturer. Until that is done the tires should be inflated to the pressures listed on the data plate located in the driver's cockpit area. It can be found on the wall next to the driver or in an overhead cabinet.
