We have a Lorado 5th wheel trailer. We started feeling a sway at 65 MPH, then noticed in the rear view mirror a wheel came off and was rolling down the road beside us as we slowed down. The pretty chrome plated plastic axel cover is installed from the inside of the wheel then the flange is squeezed as you tighten the lug nuts. Due to vibration and road bumps, the plastic axel cover squeezes even more, and the lug nuts start to loosen. We now check and tighten the lug nuts at each campgroung. Surprising how much they loosen.

Check the Owner's Manual it will have a mileage requirement for checking wheel lugs.
