Gas is high, gas is getting lower, what the heck... Does it make a difference? Make shorter trip, keep the longer trip, but eat out less? Well latest news has gas prices going down, still up there a bit, hence the question. Many folks are just shortening the distance, yet others after doing the math realize the same distance doesn't stretch the budget by that much!

How about you? Where are you going?

DH says gas just went back up here but we have our annual trip to Branson still planned. I always think of how many things I could do with that $ but they wouldn't bring the memories with our DGD that taking her to Branson and Silver Dollar City will bring. Hope everyone has a great camping season and make lots of happy memories with your loved ones.

Summer is just about over, we are at the cusp of Labor Day Weekend, for some, the official 'end of summer', for others it ushers in the weekends and weeks of uncrowded campgrounds, quieter travel and the time to really enjoy. For yet others, it signals the time to start planning trips south, the weather is getting cooler (well it will sometime), and time to settle into winter destinations.

I have a couple questions; what did YOU do on your summer vacation? Where will you be spending the winter? How far will you travel in search of warmth?

Have safe travels!
