As with all RV's the battery controls about 80% of electrical systems. A battery is also used when not connected to shore power. When you are connected to shore power the battery has a very important function of being a filter for the converter. The voltage from the converter, which changes 120vac to 12vdc, is not perfect. Without the battery it can cause damage to elctronic ignition appliances. The battery also provides power to the required break-a-way switch which applies the brakes if the trailer would become disconnected. The roof sealants need to be inspected and repaired as needed. It is not required to seal the entire roof. What type of roof material is on the Timberland? Rubber, aluminum or fiberglass?
