World of Work Camping: Roadside Issues Resolving Roadside Issues
As full-time RVers, my wife, Jolene, and I dread the thought of our coach breaking down. But let’s face it – we’re driving a house on wheels, in a state of constant earthquakes. Things happen.

Years ago there was a Bill Whetstone who did film work with the Cal Assoc of 4WD Clubs. Would this be the same Bill Whetstone or a relative? If a relative, please ask him to email me.

Your story could have been about us, but we lost TOTAL power just as we were nearing the crest of the one lane Overseas Hwy in he Florida Keys. A line of cars, trucks etc, going 55 mph behind us. It was truly a nightmare as night fell.

Susan Hope everything turned out OK for you! Breaking down is never fun, but you have to celebrate the little victories, not being hurt, getting going again etc. Keep the bright side visible!
On the Bill Whetstone film maker, no relation. I have done lots of phitigraphy over the last 40+ years, but no filming and only in CA a very short time.
If you find him, I'd like to meet him.

I was interested to see the recommendation to have no limits on towing, my current plan is 25 miles so I will look for better coverage.
Thank you

Bless road service. A year ago we experienced four blowouts within 200 miles on our motorhome. All were original tires, three years old, all blew out in the same area of the tire. We weren t overweight & air pressure was uleschecked each morning.
